I really love to find inexpensive beauty products that perform well and affordable. I was the beauty supply store to get a few liners and a few nyx items, I also picked up a few Nicka K HD eyeshadows. Those bright colors immediately drew me in like a walking dead zombie to gun fire… instantly. I only picked up a few at the time. I thought, for $.99 a pop, I wasn’t gambling on any crazy bets that there’s going to be any possible duds.
I picked up 4 of them; a gold, baby blue, seafoam greenish gold and a teal.
When I got them home, I instantly dug in for a swatch. To my surprise they’re extremely pigmented. The texture was pretty soft and buttery, which can be good AND bad. They are easy to blend but can be over-blended quickly. Be gentle with them and you’ll have better results.
Picked up 3 more colors: dark fuchsia, bright fuchsia and black.
#3028 warm medium gold with bright gold shimmer
#3006 warm teal green/blue with gold shimmer
#3007 light blue with a bright gold shimmer
#3035 baby blue with a bright gold shimmer
#3039 bright fuchsia with cool blue iridescence
#3025 dark fuchsia with purple undertone
#3021 pearly black with silver shimmer.
There are around 40 colors in the collection I believe… I have a suspicion that these may no longer be in production. I cannot find them on the Nicka K site. If this is in fact the case, when you come across them, don’t think twice about buying a color you like. You may come back for it and it will be gone.
