L.A. Colors 12 Eyeshadow Palettes
Haven’t had a chance to really try these out the way I wanted too. Got these at the Dollar Tree for a $1 apiece… I got 3…Traditional, Chic and Supernatural. Let’s take a look at each palette.

Traditional, basically 12 browns and highlights. I must say that while I love experimenting with different colors, I always come back to my neutrals. They’re the colors I go through the most and reach for just about on a daily basis. And this palette is a must have for anyone who doesn’t have that much time in the morning and needs a good selection of neutrals for work. It’s convenient- all the colors that I need in one palette, one very light and compact palette that easily fits into my purse.

A palette of purples, pinks, lavenders…. I have to say that I was really disappointed with this one. Yes, it was only $1, but based on my experience with the Traditional palette I was expecting more 😟

A great palette of blue shades…. Every shadow in this palette has visible shimmer. Consistency-wise, the are pretty good, not too soft nor to hard. The color pigmentation gets better as the shades get darker, so it’s alright in that regard I guess.

My problem with these… It’s what the colors look like when they are swatched. They look so similar that instead of a 12 color palette you actually have a 6-7 color palette. The top row swatches practically identical, the second row only gives two colors and the last (gray) row give only three. Unless you like the exact colors as they are swatched and can see yourself benefitting from multiples of each, I can’t see an upside about this.

Over all…too many of the shadows look the same against the skin…this thing just seems useless to me.
