Boxycharm October 2019

Hey Beauties, I’ve missed you guys, so much. Been dealing with a lot in my private life which seems like there’s no end in sight. Hopefully God hear my prayers and correct all the wrongs and let truth prevail. With all that being said, let’s talk about this month Boxycharm shall we.

It’s fall and that means holidays season is fast approaching. October is a fun month for celebrating Halloween and getting BC…this month theme is AFTER DARKI feel the theme is suitable for the occasion.

Boxy Content:

  • Dose of Colors Eyeshadow Palette (Baked Browns)
  • Touch of Sol Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm
  • Iconic London Lip Plumping Gloss
  • Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter (Stunner)
  • Illuminati Cosmetics Sponge

There’s a number of factors about this box that I love and hate. I did get almost the perfect box except for the palette which I was really looking forward to receiving…this palette not really feeling.

Just to plain and already have similar shades too these. My first Dose of Colors palette and very much disappointed, by the choice…yet I’ll still test it out. Let’s take a closer look at the boxy contents.

First up, Dose of Colors Baked Browns 5 pan palette is a matte matte eyeshadow with neutral shades that’s goes well with every eye color. It does have a nice metallic sheen. Each box has a different palette of beautiful rich jewel tones. This palett retails for $32

I love anything that keeps my skin looking and feeling it’s best. So I was pleasantly excited to see this beauty in my box cause I wanted this so bad.

Touch of Sol Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm is an ultra hydrating priming skin balm with a sensationally smooth texture that melts right into the skin and creates the ultimate glow that lasts all day. Retails for $32

Tarte is one of my favorite brands and everytime boxycharm has a product from them I get giddy with excitement.

This Tarte Tartesit Pro Glow Liquid Highlighter is a creamy highlighter that builds from sheer to intense. Ultra concentrated pigments and pearls are suspended in the hybrid gel cream, oil-free formula that you can mix with your liquid foundation to wear alone for natural lit luminosity.

Infused with rose water, slips softly onto skin and keeps moisture in with tapered, squeezable packaging. Retails for $29

I’ve never heard of this brand Illuminati Cosmetics Sponge since a reusable cosmetic sponge applicator. Retails for $21

Iconic London Lip Plumping Gloss is the ultimate combo of non-stick gloss and plumping power. The high shine formula is infused with a biomimetic peptide, which helps to support natural collagen production for more defined and voluminous looking lips. Retails for $26

Overall, my initial thoughts on this box…it’s a great box, minus the unwanted palette. Everything else is just what I wanted.
