Wet n’ Wild 40 Palette

Finally got my hands on the new 40 palette. Wet n wild celebrated their 40th anniversary with the releasing of their limited edition eyeshadow palette. You’ve guessed it, 40 eyeshadow shades in three different types of finishes- matte, shimmer, and satin.

For a drugstore brand, this is the first large eyeshadow palette that they’ve came out with….and this palette is only available on wet n wild’s website.

You’ll notice that the design on the box and palette is the extact same. The only difference is that the box contains a picture of the eyeshadows on the back, while the palette just has the design on the back. There aren’t no shade names for the eyeshadows.

The wet n wild The 40 Palette features a beautiful rainbow color story, which you can use to create any look imaginable. With this shade range you can create:

A smokey eye
A nude eye
A rainbow look
A cool-tone look
A warm-tone look

40 colorful shades with buttery-soft mattes, rich shades, and gleaming shimmers. Formulated for ultra- pigmentation, seamless blendability, and long-lasting wear.
Can be used wet or dry for high-impact color.

The quality and pigmentation of wet n wild’s eyeshadows has always been awesome, But, I have to say that this palette is the best quality that wet n wild has ever released. These shades are soft and extremely pigmented, with some exceptions…with consistent quality shades to shades! Before writing this post I’ve used this palette, and I screamed with pure excitement. I went in with my brush treating these like standard wet n wild eyeshadows.

This palette is like high-end, a little goes a long way! These shadows truly pick up better on a brush than your finger. Look at my swatches. You can wet your brush with the shimmers and they’ll pack a bigger punch.

I brought this palette when it was on sale for $9.99 because I was eager to try It after I heard that It was a James Charles Dupe… However, I will say this palette exceeded my expectations & In my opinion is better than the James Charles palette. This palette is well worth buying. You get a lot of bang for your buck!

This is a great palette for novices and pros. Some of the shades will surely surprise you with color shifting properties.
