Jeffree Star New Cremated Palette

Hey beauty lovers Jeffree is back with a new Spring Collection and honey Cremated Gate has begun.

Everyone knows that Jeffree Star is no stranger to controversy so this is going too make the launch more successful…I personally can’t wait for it’s official release. Since it’s reveal there’s been such frenzy that it’s crazy.

Let’s be honest, we knew that Jeffree was going to be releasing his new collection, because earlier in the week he announced that in his reveal video on his YouTube channel on Saturday. He even hinted saying “If you love rainbow color, this isn’t the palette for you.”

Looking at the palette, it’s very gray…he wasn’t kidding.

Jeffree first announced the new collection on Friday, Jeffree wrote:

Introducing the #CREMATED eyeshadow palette & collection!!!! This one of a kind spooky @jeffreestarcosmetics 24 pan gothic dream will wake up the makeup world! The FULL reveal video will be on my channel TOMORROW morning!!!! Get ready to be deceased. Extreme payoff. 🕊 With our iconic mattes & new extreme sparkle metallic formula.”

Inside the Cremated palette with 24 new shades. All eyeshadows with no pressed pigments. Really for $52…same as Jawbreaker palette. The outer packaging is marbled white with clear letter to see the beautiful inner palette which has Jeffree’s face on it for the first time.
Jeffree explained that the collection was originally to launch in April, due to the COVID19 it had been postponed. Which goes without saying…this collection would have been planned months in advance, way before we knew our lives were going too changed forever.

In his video introducing the palette on Satuday Jeffree most definitely stayed away from addressing the backlash, which was very unexpected. With all the craziness that’s going on I was very shocked by the response and then again I’m not.

As for my thoughts on Cremated Gate personally I don’t find it distasteful this was in the making before this pandemic. Would it have been different if he released it when the pandemic started would everyone be up in arms?

What’s your thoughts about the Cremated collection.

  1. I 100% agree with you, I’m doing a post about it too next week but I know the palette was thought way before the pandemic so I don’t think is offensive, I really don’t like when people see offensive things where there aren’t, Cremated is just a word and my dad was cremated, I don’t take it personally. I also don’t mind grey I just don’t need 24 shades of it. I think the palette should have been smaller like his mini ones

    1. Exactly, people find ways to find fault in everything and it’s just a palette. I’m not a big fan of grays, but I’m on the fence with purchasing it tomorrow.
Love the packaging and the shades. Definitely wish there was a mini like the mini breaker and controversy palettes.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts ❤ and checking out my post. 🤗

      1. I’m so sorry for your loss! But I agree, my dad passed away a few years ago and I really didn’t mind, when I told my sister (she’s not even into makeup and doesn’t particularly like Jeffree either) she was like: why are people hating on him? It’s not that big of a deal

  2. Its an interesting palette . I’m not too interested in the lip products . I would’ve liked a solid matte grey lipstick , but it seems more like grey glosses. The palette itself is interesting , I get that its meant to be a bit morbid , but I don’t really attribute that to current events . My thing is I don’t know if I would need that many shades of grey . Its a neat idea though .
