Hey, back with the second palette from Bh Cosmetics Weekend Vibes Collection. In my earlier post, I reviewed Weekend Vibes Mimosa palette and now we’re back with the second installment. As someone who loves avocados, this brings my heart such joy and excitement. If I had to get the mimosa palette it was clearly the best decision to get the sister as well. We’re going to indulge on a feast of delicious shades. Tempting array of 16 sun-ripened, luscious earth tones and complimentary neutrals that delivers rich pigmented shades that’s going to instantly emphasizes the eyes for all occasions.
.
Introduction
it’s just something about this palette that gets my blood running, this is how a nice green palette should look like. There’s different shades and finished at well as textures. You do get some pop of color to round out this warm earthy tone palette. You have rich velvety mattes and glistering shimmers.
Weekend Vibes Avocado Toast isn’t anything but gorgeous and the looks that you can create with this could be everyday neutral, Smokey eyes or even a glam look. With different colors that seems to compliments one another so it should be very easy coming up with a look. Now, I checked out Makeup Revolution -I Love Revolution Avocado Tasty Palette and both have similarities, Bh has by far superior quality next to Makeup Revolution.
Swatches
searching these shadows was fun cause I got a chance to see they’re true shades in natural light. I have a few shades that I’m super excited about. None of these swatches did I use a primer or base, that’s how good they are. Don’t take my word, just look.
Row 1: Avocuddle, Lemon Pepper, Over Easy, Green Juice
Row 2: Pink Salt, Avo Toast, Super Food, Guac
Row 3: Expensive, Ripe, Paprika, Extra
Row 4: Spicy, Hass, Pit, Holy Moly
What I Like Most About This Palette
The fact this palette is simply gorgeous and that it’s everything I want, need in a green palette. Unlike the Makeup Revolution I Love Revolution Viva Neon Up All Night that really don’t have a lot of greens and it’s not even neon, we’ll get into that in other post. With swipe you can see the intensity of each shade which was a really good relief.
I like going on the hunt for different and fun palettes that I don’t have in my collection and after having and playing with ColourPop’s Just My Luck palette that was all greens and golds, I loved that one. It’s very hard looking for really great quality of shadows that’s affordable and delivers what it claims.
I love the Extra, looks a cytochrome and reminds me of Urban Decay’s Lounge shadow. Also I’m crazy about the shade Guac reminds me of a shade that I have in my Tarte Remix palette, Hass is that beautiful goldish green and will look amazing with brown and blue eyes, just in my opinion.
How Would You Rate This Palette
What can I say, this palette has everything I want and the pigment is insanely crazy good. Size of the palette makes it great for travel and the endless looks upon looks that can be achieved. Far as price point, you’re getting awesome quality for the price. So I would have factor in everything and give it a 5 ???? across the board. Definitely a palette that I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Pros & Cons:
I’m not really sure if there’s any cons for this. As far as I’m concerned it’s good. But just in case you’re interested in the pros and cons…here’s my opinion.
Pros:
- Bright, vibrant green tones, warm earthy hues and gorgeous neutrals
- Range of mattes, shimmers, and glitter finished with -one application intensity
- Buildable, bendable and long-lasting formula
Cons:
- Fallout
- some a bit chalky
Would You Recommend
Yes, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this palette and the other one- you will not be disappointed and you’re going to get your money worth. If you’re into greens, this definitely has your name on it.
